Solid hotel. Conventions run extremely well for large groups. Food excellent. Excellent staff friendly and courteous.

Overall the hotel is just ok. The service met my expectations, however, the noise level in the rooms fell below expectation. Walls seem to be made of paper, can hear all of the conversations in the hall, doors slamming sounded like it was in my room, oh and my favorite...Snoring neighbors!
If you want a good night sleep, don't stay here. If you are here to party all night long, the perfect place to stay. At least until the lobby bars close.

Try a different hotel if you can
The best part about my stay was the concierge lounge staff. They were amazing. The others didn’t live up to what I expect from a Marriott property. The rooms feel dated and beds are uncomfortable.

It was overpriced for what you get
For a comparable price, nearby hotels I've stayed at offered better room and consistent service. the room I was in was close to the lounge, and the staff were not discreet with their noises while the lounge was in operation. This woke me up at 6am. The walls are also thin that I could hear my neighbours moving the chair and kids next room softly singing with their parents. Front desk staffers were also hit or miss in terms of professionalism. Food was ok. The tulips were very pretty. And the common area by the desk were comfortable and not loud with plenty of sitting areas. Did not use the pool or the fitness center. Overall, disappointing for a full service hotel charging a premium room rate.

Friendly and helpful staff, close to the metro, easy to get around and in a lovely neighborhood. My only reason for not giving a higher rating is because there were no microwaves in the rooms.

Archaeologists at Washington Marriott Wardman Park
I enjoyed the Wardman Park hotel as a conference venue. The hotel and meeting rooms were very nice, and the lobby and lobby bar provided excellent gathering places to visit with colleagues. The hotel is walking distance to numerous local restaurants at the National Zoo and is close to a metro station and Reagan National Airport.
