Exploring Yorkville

Shopping

Wander Bloor Street, the epicentre of Toronto fashion, and you'll pass Hermès, Chanel and Balenciaga storefronts, as well as Toronto’s trademark high-end department store, Holt Renfrew. At Yorkville Village, you'll find outposts of Canadian labels — some exclusive to Toronto — and global designers intermingling with trendy eateries, art installations and pop-up boutiques.

Galleries

Whether you're moved by pop art, photography or contemporary work, the world-class galleries that dot Yorkville hold some of Canada’s biggest names in the art world and serve as Toronto's exhibition hub. Browse Taglialatella Gallery, W Toronto’s local art curator partner designing the artwork that adorns the hotel and guestrooms.

Museums

Near the hotel you'll find the Royal Ontario Museum, with its Daniel Liebskind-designed crystal structure affixed to the heritage 1914 stone façade. A true national landmark, the museum houses more than 13 million artworks, cultural artifacts and natural specimens. After exploring the ROM, wander over to the Gardiner Museum, a celebration of clay and ceramics in all their forms.
