FABULOUS STAY & OUTSTANDING HOTEL
The Springhill Suites Miami Downtown/Medical Center was A-MAZ-ING!!! The staff (especially the gentleman at the front desk with whom I had the utmost pleasure of checking in with (I am trying to remember his name, but I am drawing a blank. It begins with the letter "A")). This gentleman was very pleasant, and extremely customer service oriented. Even when I needed some extra towels and blankets for my room, he had them sent up without hesitation! He was awesome and definitely an asset, and a keeper, to the Marriott team!:)
The breakfast was great. Not many hotels can boast that they have a full breakfast buffet. And no other hotel does a full breakfast buffet like Marriott. The food is always fresh, plentiful, and delicious.:)
The hotel room was great. There were a total of four of us sleeping in a room, and we all had plenty of space to be comfortable and mobile. The room was very clean and inviting.
I have not had any bad experiences with Marriott, and I am so ecstatic that I get to add the Springhill Suites Miami Downtown/Medical Center to that list! FABULOUS STAY AND OUTSTANDING HOTEL!!!

Manager Needs to Be Replaced
We have stayed here about 20 nights in the last 3 years. With the exception of the manager on duty Sept 1, the staff there is phenomenal- front desk, food staff, custodian, van driver. Check your account, because we paid cash for our stay and exempted parking fees with our AAA card as we’ve done several times at Marriott properties, got our parking pass, and they charged $480 to our card. We asked for the cash back (we had given them cash) as there was no guarantee the bank would clear the error in time (10 business days). He was nasty, twisted it around like it was our fault (my husband then marched down with our parking pass proving we had addressed it at check in), and left us filing disputes with our bank. He was, in literally 100 nights we’ve stayed at Marriott properties, the worst employee we have ever encountered. They made the mistake and refused to fix it in a way that guaranteed we had our money by Friday. Nevermind the fact we now had a bank issue to deal with when we were dealing with a Cat 5 hurricane hitting my husband’s family and didn’t need one more thing to deal with- and we did nothing wrong. But apparently charging $480 as parking (hello, 24 nights worth?) leaves this guy powerless to fix the problem in an acceptable time frame. I really hope Marriott replaces this guy, he is NOT up to the standards we have experienced at this hotel. Guests be warned and watch your card on file.

Fabulous hospitality!
Excellent stay from checkin to checkout. Shuttle service was prompt and reliable. Breakfast was delicious with many options. Hospitality department was very accommodating. Would definitely return to this hotel.
