The Friendliest Hotel in Manhattan!
The friendliness, efficiency and professionalism of the staff was refreshing! The rooms were spacious and very clean. While there was not a restaurant, they did offer very good coffee and there was a Starbucks right next door. We can’t wait to book next years trip here.

2nd year staying at this hotel for our visit to the usopen. Easy access to #7 train, great area for restaurants easy walk to Broadway!

Courtyard stay
Everyone was as to be expected. The lobby is pretty small and non-descript, but I already knew this from previous stays. It is not an issue as the price is good. The rooms are clean if cosy and the beds are comfortable. The staff is pleasant. The problem I had this time was that there was very loud construction on the building across the street all night long. So, if you are a light sleeper, you may want to check in advance if construction is still in progress. Or, see if there is a room on another side of the building that is quieter.

Terrible service at Courtyard near Grand Central, 5th Avenue and 40 th st.
Staff was nor helpful at all. They steered us to the wrong accommodations and the room was in bad condition. The rollouts were in very bad shape and the room had a terrible smell. The staff was more upset about us rightfully complaining than trying to help us with a solution. We were promised that the manager would get back to us, he/she never did. Overall very rude. For a few more dollars there are much better options within the Marriott chain in that area. Sorry to say that even though I am a Gold Bonvoy member, I would rather stay at another chain than return to this hotel. It’s a shame because it is very well
