Rated 4 out of 5 by GaryLotne from Great location and great room for the price The Eastside Courtyard is an unimposing structure on Third Avenue with a tiny entry. However, the rooms were large, clean and comfortable, at a price far lower than many area hotels and with a terrific location. In New York, it's all about getting around. This hotel is located within 80 yards of a Subway. When we visited, it was UN Week and police presence had traffic at a standstill, making national headlines. We were advised to allow 2-3 hours with Uber to get to JFK for our flight. Instead, following directions from front desk, we made it by subway/Airway to the airport in 45 minutes and at cost of $8. Great deal.
