Atop Times Square - A New York Moment in Time
My husband and I were fortunate to finally stay in the Marriott Bonvoy Renaissance Hotel. For many years, we would stop in the hotel for lunch before theater, with friends, with our children, our grandchildren. We always wanted to stay at this property, but our budget had limitations. Now, we were in the position of treating ourselves to a great New York moment, It was great. We enjoyed a lunch before walking over to the Marquis Theater to see Tootsie, we had drinks and desserts at View, while we slowly watched the sunset. We had a restful night, walked and took in the sights, finishing our second day with dinner in a wonderful Indian restaurant recommended by our concierge. We left on Tuesday morning vowing to return and recapture our New York moment.

Awesome Staff and Location
This was our second time stay at the Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel. The primary reason was the friendly staff and location. We were not disappointed. I would highly recommend this hotel, if you want to stay in the heart of Times Square. The restaurant overlooking Times Square is by far the best view of anywhere on 7th Avenue|Broadway.

場所が素晴らしい
タイムズスクエアをステージのように望む特等席があるホテルです。その特等席はレストランかスイートルームのいずれでも楽しめます。

Not what it used to be!
Been staying here over twenty years on our annual trip to NYC for theater and fun. Location is great. BUT, after seeing the hotel undergo at least three renovations, we were very disappointed this time. Bed is comfortable, but there are no drawers in room so we couldn't unpack. I don't like living out of a suitcase for three nights! New York is an exhausting city. We would return to the room in the late afternoon to regroup before dinner or theater, and other than the desk chair, there was no place to sit and relax except the bed. We could go to the bar, but that is hardly quiet and relaxing. Music is blasted in the elevators and other public places day and night. Menu for bar is limited, and they were out of everything except three items. Breakfast is a disappointment with paper cups for the $32.00 serve yourself buffet that is free at many hotels. European hotels always include breakfast. I expect to pay a premium for a glass of wine in New York, but $15 for a 6 oz pour of a mediocre wine that can be purchased for $10/bottle just really irritates me.

Great Hotel for Fun and Business
Location, Location, Location. This hotel delivers on all levels. Clean. Well Appointed. Courteous Staff. Two Absolutes if you stay here. Ear Plugs and Eye Mask. Depending on your room selection the light and sound from the street can disrupt your sleep.

Didn't honor reservation
Was told they sold out of the room type I was "guaranteed". Proceed with caution for business travelers as this hotel seems better suited for folks on personal travel.
